Based in Denver, Colorado, A Little Something is a benevolent enterprise dedicated to helping refugee women achieve self-sufficiency and personal empowerment through the beauty of handmade crafts.
Persecuted for their race, ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation, and having been forced to flee from such troubled regions as Somalia, Burma, Bhutan, Iraq, and Sudan, many of the refugee women participating in our program struggle with the additional challenges of lack of education, language skills, and prior professional experience.
A Little Something hopes to empower these women by providing a cooperative means to develop their crafting skills and to sell their creations while fostering a supportive network of artisans.
A huge hug and thank you to the best team we could dream of. We could not and would not be here without your efforts and love.
